"These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may know that your have eternal life" (1 John 5.13) If you were to die today, would you know for sure you would go to heaven? If God were to ask you, "Why should I let you into my heaven?" When did you believe in Christ as your personal Savior and become assured of your eternal life? AFTER One Becomes a Christian, by Being Born Again...(John 3.3, 1 Peter 1.23) He is to Continue to Seek to Have Christ as #1 in His Life and Service "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6.33) He is to Continue to Grow in his Walk as a Christ-Centered Christian "Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, so walk in Him" (Colossians 2.6) He is to Live as Obedient Christ-Centered Life "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome" (1 John 5.3) HOWEVER, Three Obstacles Can Hinder the Christ-Centered LifeThe World - "Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world"2 The Flesh - "Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul" (1 Peter 2.11 NKJV) 3.
