3. GOD'S PROVISION for the Christ-Centered Life is HIS Power

God's Power Comes Through the Indwelling Christ and
by Yielding to the Holy Spirit

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4.13 NKJV)

Power Over the World: "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans 12.2)

Power Over the Flesh: "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh."
(Galatians 5.16)

Power Over the Devil: "Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you." (James 4.7)

4. MAN'S DECISION Requires A - C - T - S

A - ADMIT any sin in your life by confessing it to God

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1.9)

C - COMMIT yourself to the Lord as #1 in your life

"...I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship." (Romans 12.1)

T - TURN from your sin & forsake it

(Repentance is a change of mind resulting in change of actions)

"He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will find compassion." (Proverbs 28.13)

S - SUBMIT yourself to the power of the Holy Spirit

"And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation but be filled (controlled) by the Holy Spirit."
(Ephesians 5.18)
